About Jackson, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Jackson, Tennessee is located in the western portion of the state and is one of the larger communities in the area.  It is, however, certainly not a big city.  There is still a great deal of small-town Tennessee charm that can be felt when you first enter the area.  The seasonal weather means that you will need to plan your trip around what type of weather that you prefer. Stop by in the summer for the hotter months or check out the snow and ice in the winter.

What makes this area so special are the many and varied local events and festivals. Jackson is home to the Miss Tennessee Pageant, the official state finals. In addition, the area is brimming with family fun and activities like the Strawberry Festival in Humboldt or the Fall Folklore Jamboree at the West Tennessee Agricultural Museum. They are held all year round, so whether you visit in the heat of the summer or the chill of the winter, there will be something fun to do with the family!

The city of Jackson is the site of the International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame Museum, which recognizes the contributions of Tennessee musicians.  It is headquartered in Nashville, but the love of music and joy of sharing it is a tradition that can be found all over the state, which is why the museum itself was placed in Jackson. This is a great way to pass a wintery, chilly day inside in the heated facility.

Looking for more fascinating local history? Check out the cabin in the downtown area of the town of Rutherford.  The town is said to be the last home of the frontiersman and the cabin was restored from timbers of the actual home.  In true West Tennessee tradition, the town holds a festival each year called the Davy Crockett Days festival each year to celebrate their ties to the legend.  This is a perfect daytime activity for any season but might feel particularly ‘authentic’ on a cold, snowy day in winter when you can just imagine Davy Crockett out there chopping wood.
