About Rutherford, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Rutherford, Tennessee is a Western Tennessee town that is the perfect place for people who love peace and quiet.  The neighbors are friendly, the weather is seasonal and the scenery is gorgeous.  What more could you ask for? Those who love to watch the seasons change will enjoy taking in the beauty of nature as it blossoms with color each spring and summer, followed by fallen leaves and snow in the fall and winter.  There is something very All-American about this small town.  Perhaps it is the fact that it is so closely associated with a very famous frontiersman…

Rutherford is said to be the "Last Home of Davy Crockett” and there is a reconstructed version of Crockett's home located in downtown Rutherford.  Also downtown is Crockett’s mother’s grave. Rutherford hosts a community festival called "Davy Crockett Days" each year where the community celebrated West Tennessee history and culture.  Held for a week each October, it is a great festival to enjoy in the cool and crisp autumn air.

If Davy Crockett interests you then you should definitely take the time to check out the cabin in the downtown area.  It is restored from timbers of the actual, original home. The Davy Crockett Cabin Museum is a great place to enjoy some Tennessee history and culture and would be a wonderful family activity on a cold, wintery day.

In the area, you will find that such “down home” festivals are quite common and are a part of the area’s small town charm and friendly feeling.  If you find yourself checking out the Davy Crockett Days event in the fall, you should also check into the West Tennessee Agricultural Museum’s Fall Folklore Jamboree with art, music and more.  It is a great event for the kids and the weather in the autumn is just right for this type of fun.
